The challenge
To create a bespoke environment for UEFA’s Season Kick-Off in Istanbul that captured the essence of the city. The challenge was to dress and transform the venue into a space with a distinctive local identity, while maintaining UEFA’s brand standards and event prestige.
What we did
We designed a visually rich setting inspired by the textures and tones of Istanbul’s iconic Grand Bazaar. Leveraging UEFA’s existing event materials from previous editions, we developed a refined look & feel concept that merged heritage with celebration. Our team created a fully custom space, from layout and spatial planning to decor and atmospheric styling, working with local suppliers to bring authenticity to the guest experience. Candlelight, patterned tableware, textiles, and decorative touches turned the venue into a warm, welcoming setting for UEFA guests and executives. Project management, creative direction and onsite execution were led by Iventions, ensuring flawless delivery on a tight timeline and a high-profile stage.
The result
The event marked the official opening of the new football season, creating a memorable moment in Istanbul for 120 high-level attendees. Three competitions were launched during the day in a space that honoured the host city and set the tone for the months to come.
