The Axiecon Gaming Event took place at Pavilion 2 of Fira Plaza España in Barcelona, from September 7th to September 10th, 2022. This 3-day gaming extravaganza featured a range of satellite events, starting with a pool-side registration event on September 7th and culminated an exclusive VIP closing party on September 10th.

We played a vital role in the production of the 3-day Axiecon gaming event at Fira Plaza España in Barcelona, which drew approximately 2,500 attendees from around the globe.

Planning the event posed significant challenges due to the limited time we were provided. Achieving success demanded an elevated degree of flexibility, adaptability, swift responsiveness, and agile co-ordination to manage numerous event locations, suppliers, and accommodating some last-minute requests.

Axie Infinity is built on the Ethereum blockchain and is known for its unique and colorful digital creatures called "Axies." These Axies can be collected, bred, trained, and battled in a player-versus-player or player-versus-environment format. The game utilizes blockchain technology to ensure true ownership of Axies and in-game assets, making it possible for players to buy, sell, and trade their digital assets within the Axie ecosystem.

Thanks to close collaboration with the Axie team, we triumphed in orchestrating a remarkable event. Over three memorable days, visitors were treated to an exceptional experience, complete with meticulous attention to detail in decorations, an enticing array of leisure activities and captivating attractions.

Work process

Our responsibilities encompassed space enhancement, notably the VIP lounge, recreation and outdoor leisure areas, the onsite closing party, staffing, and a range of additional offerings including morning runs, yoga and meditation sessions, a custom nail studio, captivating live ice sculpting, photographer sessions with custom photo calls.

In addition, we organized the registration event on September 7th at the Go Beach Club in located at Barcelona Forum, accommodating 2500 guests. Our comprehensive event management extended from venue procurement and artistic decoration to selecting DJs, arranging entertainment and providing catering services, ensuring a seamless experience throughout.

On September 9th, we organized the VIP gathering for over 100 top-tier guests at the Sea Garden in Barcelona’s Port Vell Marina. Our event co-ordination encompassed venue arrangements, space decoration, premium catering and accommodating any last-minute requests that arose.

Finally, on September 10th, we orchestrated the grand closing party for 2000 guests at Pavilion 2 within Fira Barcelona Plaza España. Our meticulous planning covered space delineation, artistic decoration, AV setups, bespoke furniture arrangements, lush plant adornments, eye-catching photocalls and custom-tailored decorative elements. We also curated live entertainment, ensured impeccable catering and managed the gift distribution process seamlessly.

The event’s resounding success fills Iventions with pride, as we played an instrumental role in transforming Barcelona into a vibrant gaming hotspot for three days.
