Case

The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Basketball Final Four represents the peak of the European basketball season, bringing together the top four teams to compete for the championship and claim the title of Europe's best. This event is the most coveted on the European basketball calendar for clubs, fans and media, drawing significant attention from VIPs and sponsors. Final Four 2024 was held at the cutting-edge Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. Given the event's significance and the influence of its attendees, it was crucial to develop a creative, engaging and modern concept to ensure an unforgettable experience.

In addition to VIP hospitality areas, this year we introduced a new concept: weekend packs. We conceived and delivered this new feature: guests could purchase weekend activities, that included tours of famous Berlin landmarks, beer & wine tastings and dinner with basketball legends, which allowed guests revel in the city in addition to the action on the court.

Venue for the 2024 edition

Work process

Building on our valued partnership with Euroleague Basketball, Iventions had the honour of creating premium VIP experiences for another edition of Final Four. This year, Europe’s premier basketball tournament took place in Berlin. Our goal was to exceed expectations by providing guests with experiences that were both captivating and enriching. Alongside delivering impressive AV and branding elements, we focused heavily on guest management to ensure the VIPs enjoyed moments so remarkable they couldn’t help but share them on social media. For that we had a photo call in our outdoor VIP area and photobooth with printed photos.

This year, we created a Premium Garden, outdoor area for guests to enjoy amazing weather as well as live music performances alongside basketball freestyler and magician. In addition, we featured a large LED screen for watching the games, a food truck offering traditional German food such as pretzels and hotdogs, and an ice cream stand where attendees could cool down away from the heat of the action. Our Platinum level guests once again could enjoy their own lounge with live acoustic music and delicious food.

This year’s edition brought some added complexities, the city’s and venue’s stringent regulations. Our vast experience in staging deluxe VIP experiences across Europe allows us to adhere to guidelines without negatively impacting on our vision. This year we were limited with the size of the space we had to work with, but we found creative use of the space that allowed the VIP area that thrilled both our client and their guests.

This edition presented challenges due to strict regulations. However, teamwork makes the dream work and through close collaboration with our client, we succeeded in creating an exceptional event.
