We developed, designed and built the Celona stand at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2022, the world’s largest connectivity event in the mobile phone sector.

Case

MWC, or Mobile World Congress, is the largest and most influential trade show in the mobile industry. The event, which takes place annually in Barcelona, is a hub for tech executives, mobile industry professionals and connectivity influencers, who get together to divulge and discuss the latest news in the sector. Iventions, experts in stand design for trade fairs and events, has been working with MWC exhibitors for six years.

Celona is the only private 5G LAN solution in the industry. What’s more, its beginnings are closely connected to MWC Barcelona and its name is inspired by the host city. When this emerging industry leader approached Iventions to build a booth at MWC 2022, we opted for a colourful, striking design. This ensured Celona stood its ground alongside top players in the industry and made a strong impression among attendees.

Work process

For Celona – a company with a start-up mentality and thriving business model – we designed a custom-made exhibitor booth framed with straight lines for an innovative, stylish finish. The combination of shapes in varying sizes to create depth, demonstrating Celona’s vast coverage. Crowned with head-turning signage displaying the company name, we made it clear that Celona is thinking big.

As Celona’s main aim was to share their 5G expertise with new business leads, we opted for a structure in the company’s characteristic shades of vibrant blue and orange to draw the attention of potential clients. The exhibition stand featured three modules equipped with open demos and hospitality areas accessible from both sides of the stand to pursue networking opportunities, plus a closed meeting space and welcome area.

Part of the client’s brief was to create a bold and colorful design that would be complemented by schematics with screens running videos and demos in all areas.

Our in-depth knowledge of MWC combined with our enthusiasm for design, service and innovation meant that we were able to create a truly successful exhibition stand for this company.
